9. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

The original Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines game is something of a cult classic, so this sequel has big shoes to fill. It was stuck in development hell for a long time too, and the original studio behind the game was replaced by British developer The Chinese Room, who have the gargantuan task of delivering a sequel that lives up to the classic game about vampires.

The preview video below gives an idea of what to expect from this Bloodlines sequel gameplay-wise, with the protagonist infiltrating a building in order to track down a mysterious vampire. Bloodlines 2’s protagonist is an elder vampire who makes use of her powers to great effect to dispatch a group of ghouls, before engaging in conversation with her adversary. This teaser looks pretty good, so maybe this could be the vampire game fans have been waiting so long to play.

Release date: Fall 2024. Available on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
